My Research

My research focuses on empirically capture the impact of corporate strategy and institutional development. Methods of empirical industrial organization and structural estimation are very effective to capture how the corporate strategy and institutions affects the market outcome, and are stimulating me so much.
In China, I found and experienced  a historic transformation of the economic system. Having seen for myself that both human behavior and society as a whole can change vastly when systems and mechanisms change, I decided to pursue a job that would allow me to properly understand such transformation. Economics is very useful as a means of directly understanding the mechanisms that drive human society, and microeconomics in particular can be applied to many aspects of human behavior. The theme of my lectures and exercises is to have students learn and experience such interesting features of economics.
