関　麻衣

私の専門は、教育・労働・開発政策を対象とした実証ミクロ計量経済学です。個人や家計のミクロデータを用いて政策の効果を分析し、エビデンスに基づく政策立案（EBPM）に貢献する研究を行っています。
開発途上国の社会課題に関心を持ち、データ分析を通じて社会にインパクトを与える研究力を身につけたい方を歓迎します。海外を含む博士課程進学を目指す方のステップとして、また国際機関、シンクタンク、NPO等でのキャリアを志向する方が政策分析能力を高める場としても適しています。

「Special Studies in Development Economics」では、開発途上国の個人・家計・企業・政府が直面する社会課題を経済学の理論に基づいて理解するとともに、主要な実証研究の解説を通じて、主に因果推論に基づく実証分析手法を修得します。
「Development Economics Empirical Study Seminar」では、最先端の学術雑誌に掲載された実証論文の輪読と批判的考察を通じて研究ギャップを明らかにし、それに基づく新規性のある研究仮説を構築し、データを用いた実証分析により検証を行います。

研究指導

開発途上国の社会課題を対象としてリサーチクエスチョンを設定し、先行研究の精査に基づいて新規性のある研究仮説を構築します。これに基づき、主として因果推論に依拠した実証分析を行い、その結果の解釈を深化させます。使用するデータは、学術誌掲載に耐えうる二次データ、あるいは、サーベイ実験やフィールド実験を通じて収集された一次データを対象とします。教員は、実証分析および論文執筆の指導を通じて、学生が高水準の研究成果を論文として完成させられるよう支援します。

研究領域

開発経済学教育の経済学労働経済学応用ミクロ計量経済学

研究内容

主にミクロデータと経済学理論を用い、経済主体（個人、家計など）の選択とその社会経済的結果について分析します。特に、労働経済学・教育の経済学が扱う人的資本を巡る政策課題に注目しています。他には、インフラのインパクト評価も行っています。国・地域や研究テーマはこれまでの職場や共著者との出会い、データへのアクセスなどにより様々ですが、一貫して因果推論を用いた計量経済学的分析を行っています。主要業績ではバングラデシュの貧困地域にあるＮＧＯが運営する小学校において実施された自学自習型学習のランダム化比較試験などが挙げられます。
