最近は、「21世紀の発展途上国において適切な教育・医療・開発政策を立案するうえでは、日本の経済発展の歴史に対する深い理解が欠かせない」、という信念のもと、主に戦後期の日本を文脈とした以下のプロジェクトが進行中です。

1. 個人に対する中等教育の普及が、その健康や生存期間にもたらす長期的効果の探索

2. 慢性的な感染症の治療に対する公費負担の導入が、医療市場、及び、個人の人的資本にもたらす効果の研究

また、現代の発展途上国や、戦前期、及び、現代の日本における人的資本形成の決定要因を探索することを目的とした複数のプロジェクトが進行中です。
