On July 3 and 8, the International Centre held an online bus tour for international students. This event was organized in lieu of the regular one-day bus trip that usually happens in May but was canceled this year to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

On the regular tour, we usually visit a destination in the greater Kanto area in the east part of Japan. Taking advantage of an online tour this time, however, we had a virtual sightseeing walk in the Kompira Shrine and its vicinity in Kagawa Prefecture on the Shikoku Island, Western Japan, and cut udon noodles, a specialty of the prefecture.
